Fighting for Freedom: My Journey as a Trump Campaign Worker to Liberty Student
My endeavors into politics all started one day in April of 2016 at a Trump Rally in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania, where I was introduced to former Congressman Tom Marino and Congressman Lou Barletta. Throughout the 2016 election cycle, I did a lot of door knocking for President Trump, along with working on grassroots organizations within my surrounding counties. One of my favorite moments during the campaign was when I had the ability to be directly behind the podium at a Trump Rally a few weeks prior to the 2016 election.
My political ambitions were taken to new heights after attending the High School Leadership Summit put on by Turning Point USA. I got to network with many high-level freedom-loving activists in the conservative movement across the country, along with getting involved in trying to start a chapter at my local high school. The chapter was denied by the principal at the high school due to the club being "too political." What made me want to fight even more for this country was when I saw that it was okay for the liberals in my school to have a diversity club, which endorsed Marxist organizations like Black Lives Matter, and pieces of radical far-Left legislation like the Equality Act. The level of differing treatment of the two groups was very clear and apparent. I could have thrown in the towel, but I knew that America would always be worth fighting for and that the Left’s goal was for passionate people like me to give up. I wasn’t going to give them what they wanted, so I got heavily involved during the midterm elections of 2018. From there, my ambitions to save this nation for future generations blossomed!
Two years ago, I had the opportunity to be selected as a student representative to the Pentagon with State Representative David Rowe, who is a tremendous Constitutional Conservative fighter in the Pennsylvania State House. One of my favorite memories during the 2020 election would be the awesome opportunity I received to greet President Trump off of Air Force One at the Wilkes Barre Airport. I got to talk to him for a few minutes before President Trump had to go to his next event in the state of Pennsylvania. In the late summer of 2020, I became a Team Leader for President Trump’s Campaign in Pennsylvania. I made a total of over 4,000 voter contacts, organized four grassroots rallies in support of President Trump and Law Enforcement Officers, organized events in my region with local Republican county chairs, was a VIP guest at seven of the Trump Rallies, and continue to be an activist for the America First movement going into 2021.
I was then blessed to have the opportunity to intern for a huge Patriot running for the U.S. Senate in Pennsylvania, Sean Parnell. I traveled to grassroots patriot groups all over Pennsylvania, organized fellow conservatives at markets to get involved with Sean Parnell’s Campaign to become members of Parnell’s Platoon, handed out thousands of brochures in support of Parnell’s campaign to people all over Pennsylvania, and traveled with Parnell’s campaign to events throughout Pennsylvania which all added up to be a tremendous experience. Since then, I have launched my new podcast show, Real Patriots Podcast. The goal of the podcast is to give people the uncensored truth they won't hear anywhere else on the mainstream media.
I know that through attending Liberty University, I can fulfill the mission of training champions for Christ. I believe that through studying Politics and Policy at Liberty University, I will have the ability to influence Christians from all over America. I firmly believe that by having the opportunity to attend the Helms School of Government at Liberty the school will also give me the ability to organize with people to put their passion into action by having them use the abilities God has given them to change the culture in order to preserve our precious freedoms in the America that we love.
